Dotty Hoyle is a North Carolina licensed massage and bodywork therapist, specializing in Swedish and deep tissue massage. She is also an integrated reflexologist and is trained in warm stone massage. A graduate of the Body Therapy Institute in Silk Hope, North Carolina, Dotty is also a graduate of BTI’s Spirit of Learning program, a teacher training program for bodywork educators. She is on staff as the student advisor and teaching assistant for the Institute’s massage therapy program. Dotty is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
Dotty has a passion for helping to meet her client’s individual needs and is continually intrigued by the body’s holistic wisdom. She is honored to work with people who are interested in the experience of bodywork and incorporates Eastern and Western theories in her bodywork practice, integrating the body, mind and spirit.
Dotty has a deep interest in the healing arts and continues to study many different modalities with a concentrated interest in energy medicine. She is currently enrolled in a course field of study in Healing Touch. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Special Education and for over 20 years has worked in the field of education and behavioral intervention for children with autism.
After having lived in New England for much of her life, Dotty and her family have relocated to Chapel Hill and they greatly enjoy all that the area has to offer. She takes pleasure in spending time with her family, long walks with her dogs, yoga and knitting.
Dotty volunteers her time offering massage to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Chapel Hill.
